ITHACA, N.Y.- For the second time in two weeks, Melissa Ikono broke another school record, this time in the 60 meters. Ikono broke her previous record of 7.71 with a time of 7.65 in the preliminaries of the Heptagonal Championships held in Ithaca, N.Y. Ikono also finished fourth in the 200m with an ECAC qualifying time of 25.13.

 

Senior Erika Moses qualified for the finals in the 400m with a time of 57.23. Fellow senior, Carmen Ballard, completed the one-mile run in 4:58.97. First-years Erin Hays (4:59.39) and Jacqueline Drouin (4:59.46), along with Ballard, each qualified for the finals as well as the ECAC’s with their times.  


Sophomore Serita Lachesis will compete in the finals tomorrow in the 800m after qualifying with a time of 2:13.25.
