THACA, N.Y. – Melissa Ikono and Osamuede Iyoha set new school records to lead Columbia at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships. Senior Liam Boylan-Pett finished first in the one-mile. Overall, the men finished sixth while the women tied for fifth.

On the women’s side, Melissa Ikono broke her own record set one day earlier by finishing second in the 60 meters in a blistering 7.62 seconds. The junior also took fourth in the 200m, crossing the line in 25.76.

Osamuede Iyoha also broke her own school record of 8.85 in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.77. Her teammate, Melesa Johnson, finished fourth, clocking in at 8.89.
